BEHIND THE SHOT
That day, I wasn’t just taking photos—I was watching, really watching. Just appreciating surfing for what it is.
As I crossed to Tea Tree, I saw them—a group of surfers, almost all girls, having the time of their lives. High-fives mid-wave, party waves, board swaps, laughter echoing over the water.
It was pure fun, the kind that makes surfing feel like being a kid in a playground. No pressure, no ego—just joy.
The moment lifted me. I clicked the shutter. I’m glad I did—to remember the essence of my sport.
