BEHIND THE SHOT
A calm, breezy day at Boiling Pot—but nothing about it felt boiling. Just stillness.
A few dolphins cruised through the empty bay, gliding effortlessly. On the sand, kids in school uniforms ran and laughed, their voices blending with the sound of birds singing above. Everything was peaceful.
And yet, I knew what was coming. By tomorrow, this same spot would transform into a tube-riding arena, the cyclone swell turning this calm into chaos.
That contrast fascinated me—the ocean, so still in this moment, knowing what it was about to become.
The calm before the storm.
