Marta took this photo, but I barely remember her clicking the shutter. I was too lost in the moment. Climbing a palm tree, laughing, feeling the warm wet air wrap around us.

We were on the other side of the world, staring at the horizon, realizing just how far we had come—both in land and in life. A moment of pure joy, of presence, of simply being.

That’s why I love this photo. It reminds me that life moves fast—and if you don’t stop and look around once in a while, you might miss it.
